  • The fabric or the material of the mat should be considered before purchase, avoid the cheap ones made of slippery material.
  • The mats should have little padding for safeguarding accidents during workouts.
  • Do not buy flashy or bright colored yoga mats, may cause mental discomfort
  • The mats should not be slippery
  • The mats should have moderate longevity
  • The mats should be able to tolerate the stretches and movements of the performer.

  • Beginner Yoga Mats - these are temporary mats that can be used by the beginners for gaining comfort and stability.
