Treatment for enlarged pores

Prevention, it is said, is better than cure. Maintaining a proper skin care regime eliminates the possibility of enlarged pores. Cleansing, toning and exfoliation are the tricks to healthy, glowing skin. At times pores “appear” to be larger owing to the accumulation of dead skin cells around the area. Regular exfoliation removes the dead skin cells and thus breaks the “image” of large pores.

Benzoin, buttermilk and egg skin is very effective in reducing enlarged pores. Apart from these facials, using tretinoin or going in for microdermabrasion has proved fruitful in the treatment of enlarged pores. A quick home made remedy for enlarged pores is applying lemon juice gently over the pores. The astringent properties decreases the size of the pores, on regular usage.
