Mango Face Cream

But have you ever thought of mango being a part of your skin care regime? If not, you will be surprised to know about the effectiveness of Mango Face Cream on your skin.

Known for its healing and moisturizing properties, mango face cream is an important natural skin care product often recommended by the beauty experts. It is not at all difficult to make this wonderful homemade face cream at home. You just need some natural home ingredients and spare time.

Things you need for Mango Face Cream:

  • Mango butter-3 tablespoons
  • Almond oil-1 tablespoon
  • 2-3 drops of essential oil
  • Very small amount of natural preservative
  • Metal pot
  • Small glass containers preferably ½ or ¼ clear jars


Preparation of Mango Face Cream:

  • Take 3 tablespoons of mango butter (usually made from the seed kernel of a mango tree) in a metal pot and heat it till 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • The graininess of the mango butter will disappear completely after sometime.
  • Remove the melted content from heat and add 1 tablespoon of Almond oil.
  • Pour few lavender oil (an essential oil) drops in the mixture. Stir properly.
  • Pour the content in small containers like ½ or ¼ clear jars.
  • Leave the containers that way for some hours.
  • The mixture attains thick consistency after sometime.
  • Add some more drops of almond oil if you wish for thinner consistency.
  • Add 0.5% natural preservative to the cream.

How to apply Mango Face Cream:

  • Cleanse your face properly
  • Take a little bit of the cream, rub on your hand and then apply on your face and neck.
  • Gently rub it in circular motion until the cream disappears in the skin.
The mango butter has rich moisturizing properties and is often considered a great skin lubricant. You can get rid of sunburns, wrinkles and rough skin by using this cream regularly.

Caution:
If your skin is allergic to mango, do not use the cream, or consult an expert.
