Clean and beautiful nail is always been an asset for a person whether it is a man or woman. Whether you are going to office or a party your nail should look healthy and fine and to make nails beautiful and healthy you have to take some simple initiatives which you can easily take without going to the expensive beauty salons. However, the first thing, every woman can do is avoiding cheap nail colors. People should also be conscious of several nail diseases, causes and preventions. Thus so many important aspects regarding nail health are going to be discussed here.

 

Some important initiatives for nail health

Proper cleaning is necessary to keep your nails problem free. Manicuring on regular basis is required. It is not always necessary to go to the parlors for manicuring; you can also do it in your home and the method is not a complicated one.

 
For nail health you have to maintain a good balanced diet as nails should also be healthy from the inner side. Include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables enriched with various vitamins in your diet. You should also have silicon and sulfur enriched fruits and vegetables like onions and broccolis. Drinking lots of fluids like fresh water and various fruit juices is necessary for the health of your nails.

 
Always use branded nail colors and nail removers. Before applying nail cosmetics always clean your nails with mild body washes, avoid strong soaps as they could be harmful for them. We often neglect our feet since they need extra care. After returning back to the home, clean your feet nails properly and don’t forget to apply a herbal moisturizer or cream after cleaning the nails.

 
If you have brittle nails then must take calcium tablets regularly. Also include calcium enriched foods like milk, cabbage, yogurt, cheese, and fish in your regular meals.

 
Better not to set artificial nails as they are set with glues and other chemicals which might be harmful for your nails. If you are desperate to do so then go to a skilled person who can do it perfectly without damaging your nails.

 

Common Nail diseases

Many people use to suffer from various nail health related problems like fungal problems, having dark spots on the nails, psoriatic nails and several other disorders. If you have one of such problems go to any dermatologist and don’t allow spreading them out. However, they are completely curable.

 

Manicure at Home

There are some easy procedures of manicure which can easily be tried at home. Just have a look.

 
Take out your old nail polish with the nail remover and then clean the hands and nails with warm water. After that shape and trim your nails with the help of scissors and nail file. Massage your nails with a cuticle massage cream. After finishing the massage, soak your hands again on lukewarm water for at least two minutes. After that, brush the cuticles with a soft brush and then apply cuticle remover cream. Leave it for sometimes and then remove dead skin by using an exfoliating cream. After that, apply a few drops of lemon juice on your nails to make them glowing. The whole process should be done this way.
