You can use three different types of eyeshadow color. For example select the base of light color, a little bit dark shade for the highlighter and at the end a dark color as the lead. Start with light and then gradually move with dark. Thus, start with base color and then end with highlighter. In this way, blending becomes perfect. You won't get it right at the preliminary stage, practice it for quite some time and slowly you will learn the rules of the game.

If you can use a similar colored eyeshadow matching with that of the color of your eyes, it brings out the brightness more vividly. Avoid covering brow bone with dark colors :Only if you are going for a photo shoot can you try running an exception to this rule. Apply eye shadow till the brow bone but do not try applying it over the bone unless it is a neutral color or a highlighter.

Use a good highlighter:Remember that using a good highlighter can actually make or break your appearance. . This means that if you put highlighter your look will be divided. The onlooker will notice your eyes first and then the entire face. Thus, it is important to use highlighter very carefully. If you are applying highlighter at the crease of your eyes, careful to blend with outside edge. If you get too close with your eyes, it will look beady and teeny. The tip that you should keep in mind is that while applying a darker eye shadow to the edges of your eyes, make sure that you blend it only on the outside edge.

Use the shadow with a good base : Eyeshadow comes in different forms and formulations. Each formula provides with unique finish.
