Makeup can really change how you look and what better way to enhance your appearance than applying the right shades on your lips. Lip gloss,lip liners and lipsticks go a long way in making our lips look beautiful. Here in comes the factor, the lip makeup application technique. The lip make up application technique involves many factors which you must be aware of if you want that perfect pout.

Application Technique for Lip Makeup:


  • Always make sure of the fact that your lips are smooth before you start to outline your lips.

  • To outline your lips, use a separate lip liner pencil. When you are choosing a lip liner pencil, make sure that you select a color, which is a light shade than your lipstick color. When you start outlining your lips, your hands should not shiver.

  • First start outlining your upper lip. For this, start from the center point and then work towards the outer side of the upper lips. As far as the lower lip is concerned, outline from side to side. If you use this method, it would definitely give a better effect.

  • Use a balancer in order to fill in the gaps of the lips.

  • If your lips are evenly colored, then you can just use as the base, a face powder.

  • If your lips are not evenly colored, then with the lip brush color your lips in an even manner.

  • Make sure that you do not apply excess color as it becomes a bit difficult to remove the excess color later.

  • After you are done with the coloring of your lips, take a tissue paper and fold it and keep it between your lips. Press your lips in order to get rid of the excess lip color.

  • Apply lip gloss.

  • Your lip make up is over.
Note: If you have full lips, then make very less use of lip gloss.
