The Warrior Diet is a program which is not just about the food habit, but also emphasizes on exercise and nutrition. This is not a short term diet program but can be followed throughout the life to have a strong and healthy body. It suggests that with a healthy diet one need to do some physical exercises to get the better result.

Origin of the Warrior Diet

Ori Hofmekler founded this theory. He wrote about this system of diet in his diet book. He is basically an artist who completed his graduation course from Bezalel Academy of Art. After that he also finished his higher study. At that time he used to get grants for his army background from Israel museum and American Israel Foundation. He was the former associate of The Israeli Defense Force wrote a diet book in which he mentioned about this dietary system. According to Ori this theory came into his mind when he was in the special force of Israel. After an extensive research and observation he established this theory. This system gained immense popularity worldwide, especially among the body builders and players.

Warrior Diet health basics

According to the theory one person should take very little food during the daytime and exercises a lot and take one large meal during the night. As we know the ancient warriors performed all the physical performances during the daytime and used to have a large dinner at night. Thus it allows you to take little foods during day time and it is called the underrating time. At night you must take a large meal, it is called the obverting period. Between these two periods, do lots of exercises. It suggests you to go through the hunger and at last have a meal. There are also some dos and don’ts one must follow when on diet. Have a look.

  • Any kind of processed food. Packaged foods should also be strictly avoided.Eat only organic foods.
  • Drink only filtered water and use filtered water in your cooking.
  • Try to avoid alcohols. It allows you to minimal intake of alcohol.
  • Eat lots of carbohydrate in the dinner. It stables the insulin level.

Warrior Diet health benefits

This diet allows you to take lots of fresh raw vegetables and fruits which undoubtedly very nutritious. It also makes you physically fit and lessen your stress. The system gives emphasis on whole body exercises including high jumps, sprints, frog jumps, squats and kicks. It gives you a strong body and healthy mind.

Warrior diet risks

This does not suit everybody. Persons with a strong body can only maintain this. So if you are earnestly desire to have a physic that will make your friends jealous, follow the warrior diet, forgetting about the risk.
