In fact, it is easy for people to get attracted towards fad diets, as it guarantees weight loss rapidly.

All these diet work on the principle of consuming less carb, less fat and low calories. They try to create a negative balance in the body by consuming lesser calorie and expending the most. This leads to weight loss. However, weight loss is only temporary and as soon as people get back to normal eating habits, they regain weight.

  • You can point out a fad diet, as these diets do not suggest to consult your physician before beginning with the fad diet plan.

  • It generally offers diet plans, which is very difficult to follow.
  • Fad Diets often neglects lifestyle changes.
  • It provides fewer calories, which is not enough for daily work and healthy living.
  • These fad diets are based on testimonials and are not scientifically proved.
  • It always claims to have magical results.
