  1. 1 cup of tuna
  2. 1 cup of beetroot
  3. 1 cup of cauliflower

The British Heart Foundation diet has very low calorie content (around 700 calories in a day). This diet is not a long duration diet and only goes on for a few days.

Description of British Heart Foundation Diet


One has to follow this diet plan religiously for the span of three days. If only you follow it strenuously, you can loose ten pounds. There are variations of this diet –where one can include crackers or sausages.

The meal of the three days is separate for all the three days. The measurement of all the food items is specified in ounces. To follow it religiously, you need a kitchen scale to accurately measure the weight of the food. The dieter shall have to drink at least five eight-ounce glasses of water every day. The other beverages mentioned in the diet plan are black tea or coffee. To see the desires result, follow the routine religiously.
