Blood Type Diet



Blood type diet is totally created according to your blood group. It focuses on proper nutrition of the body. The concept became popular when Peter D’Adamo’s book, ‘Eat Right 4 Your Type’ came in front of public. They took it in right way and gradually, the book turned into the bestseller. D’Adamo believes that blood type diet does not only concentrate on weight loss program, it can treat allergy and many more infectious diseases. In this way, this diet plan offers overall health benefits.

Foods for blood type O

Usually most of the people around the world possess blood group ‘O’. They require low carbohydrate, high protein foods. Therefore, meat and fish are ideal for them. They should also prefer low calorie dairy products. D’Adamo suggests that type O persons should avoid avocados, oranges, brazil nuts and so on. They must indulge in enough exercises.

Foods for blood type B

If your blood group is B, you should remove chicken and bacon from your diet list. Include sufficient quantity of meat and dairy products. Fish, fruits and vegetables are beneficial for you.

Foods for blood type A

A blood type people must avoid red meat. Try to eat lots of vegetables. You may include vegetable oil for example Flora or Barlean brand. Oilive oil, sea food, beans, peas, fruits, etc are helpful for your body. Don’t focus on dairy products. Kidney and lima beans are not ideal for you. Whole grains are not good for type A persons. Stoop to exercises for keeping the body stout and healthy.

    Lunch
    Sandwich – thin slice of cheese, thin slice of turkey breast, two slices of bread, mustard or mayonnaise

    Fruit juice sweetened yogurt

    Broiled Fish with steamed vegetables
    Fresh fruit
    Herbal tea or coffee

    Breakfast
    2 slices toasted Ezekiel bread with butter
    6 ounces vegetable juice
    Banana
    Herbal tea

    Lunch
    Organic Roast Beef, 6 ounces
    Spinach Salad
    Apple or pineapple slices
    Water

    Snack 1 slice of cake
    Herbal tea

    Dinner
    Lamb and asparagus stew, steamed broccoli, sweet potato.
    Mixed fresh fruit
    Herbal tea (beer or wine allowed)

    Oatmeal with soy milk and maple syrup

    Water with lemon, 8 ounces diluted grapefruit juice, 2 slices Ezekiel bread, Yogurt-Herb Cheese, Coffee

    Lunch 4 ounces sliced turkey breast, 2 slices rye bread
    Caesar salad
    2 plums
    Herbal tea

    Snack
    Tofu Cheesecake
    Iced herbal tea

    Dinner
    Tofu Omelet
    Stir-fried vegetables
    Mixed-fruit salad
    Decaffeinated coffee (red wine if desired)
