An acne diet is otherwise known as the acne-free diet. Acne diet is a simple process of taking a diet which in a way claims to eliminate acne or improve the acne condition. But does an acne diet really have an impact?
The food is properly listed down about how to reduce or prevent acne. The food which should be considered for eating should have low fat and high fiber content.
Foods to avoid while on Acne Diet

- Dairy products

- Increase of hormone during teenage years
- Hormonal changes during pregnancy
- Starting or stopping birth control pills

Acne Diet Chart
- Take 20 to 30 grams of fiber content food every day as it will keep the colon clean and clear off the toxins from the body.
- Consume a low fat diet as it will help to prevent acne and remember that high fat food consumption would only augment the hormone levels, causing blemishes in the skin.
- Do not eat peanut products as they only flare up the causes of acne.
- Do not eat junk and fried foods – happening to be the same cause of acne breakout.
- The salt intake should be minimized. Do not take much of table salt or iodized salt.
- Avoid eating highly salty snacks – like chips, lunch meats, canned foods, and salted popcorn.
- Stay away from dairy products like milk, cheese and ice cream
- Sodas, candy, and baked goods – food enriched with carbohydrates raises up the insulin level and thereby the acne–causing hormones in the body also gets augmented.
