From the publishing house owned by Roger's Digital Media in Canada, comes Flare, one of the internationally bestselling fashion magazines in the world. For over the past quarter of a century, Flare has proved to be the ultimate guide for Canadian women as far as fashion, beauty, health, and entertainment are concerned. With its phenomenal response in the country, the publication has been reached out to other pars of the world. As a result, as many as 2 million women eagerly wait for the upcoming edition of Flare, every month.

Flare – Past and Present


Flare was formerly published as Miss Chatelaine magazine. However from 1979 onwards, it was revamped and renamed and soon established itself as number one fashion magazine in Canada. Apart from informing the fashion freaks about the latest trends in the Canadian fashion industry, the magazine also offers health and beauty tips for Canadian women. The main aim for the publication has been to deliver the best view of the latest fashion trends, upcoming models and stars in Canada.

Over the years, the magazine has featured photo-shoots of celebrated Canadian models like Lisa Cant and Heather Marks. These photo-shoots featuring them have influenced women of all ages who are conscious of style. It has also served as a platform for many of the newcomers.

Even in the 1980s, Flare connected to the interests of the mass readers by featuring Janet Jones, wife of Wayne Gretzky. In the issue of Flare published in August 2005, it was their daughter's turn to do the same.

In the past, Flare has been edited by the like of Bonnie Fuller and Suzanne Boyd. At present, the position of editor-in-chief is being handled by Lisa Tant.
