Wills Fashion Week

Wills Fashion Week is another name for fun and glamor. Around the globe reputed designers gather and present their fashionable items which are just amazing. Wills Fashion Week was occurred in Nehru Place, New Delhi. The schedule was from 18th to 23rd March, 2009. Wills Fashion Week comes with the name of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. Throughout these 6 days, they showed their winter and autumn2009 collections.

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week contributes in searching some new talented designers who will prove themselves in near future. For Indian fashion designers, Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week is a huge platform.

The announcement of the show was happened before a few months. Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI was there on the event of announcement of this show. During this event he said that in business of fashion shows the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week is brilliant. It gives opportunity to both renowned as well unknown designers.

A group of judges were there to judge the models. The renowned names are--

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2009

Large numbers of designers and buyers were seen during this show. 102 designers and 175 buyers joined this fashion week. Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2009 designers were just superb.

• The fashion event was full of celebrities, famous personalities and the most important part of this show was—the team of Slumdog Millionaire. These kids just brought an added glamor to the show. Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail was found in ramp walk. They were the models for the well-known designers—Ashima and Leena.
  
  
• The fourth day of the show of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week was just rocking with the beautiful actress of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone. She walked on the ramp with wonderful designs. The designers for whom she walked as a show stopper were Rana Gill and Rina Dhaka. Both of the designers were inspired from nature and science and presented their Autumn/ Winter collection with the theme 'Nature Meets Science' Gill informed that most of the colors of his collection were peacock color—green, blue, purple. These bold colors are very much in fashion nowadays.
  
  
• With another theme ' I walk alone', Paras and Shalini, the talented designers displayed their collection. It was the final day of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week when they took this initiative of 'I walk alone' with art, heritage and life, flowers, etc. It was an ideal collection for Autumn/Winter season. The designers were confident about their collections. Shalini and Paras basically used grey shades for this event.
• In Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2009, the popular designer Manish Arora introduced some fashion of jungle in his collection. With its modern appearance the whole show took a new face. Audience gave huge compliments to his collections.
  
  
• The famous designer in Bollywood, Manish Malhotra got inspiration from the world of sports. His collections in Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, 2009 were black and gold merging sports and evening dresses. For coming Autumn /Winter season these collections would surely get a hit.
