Fashion shows are produced by designers in order to showcase their latest designs. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2009 unveiled some of the wonderful designs of great designers. For several years Mercedes-Benz is committed to the field of international fashion. In this fashion show, Mercedes-Benz celebrates and supports the chosen designer in the entire week. They also donate an amount to design educational school or program on behalf of that particular designer and Mercedes Benz Designer Program. This fashion week took place in Berlin, New York and Miami.

The last Mercedes-Benz Fashion week in Berlin took place in July'2008. This year the schedule of the fashion week started in 28th January and ended in 1st of February. Other than Mercedes-Benz as the title sponsor some of the leading sponsors are Technology and Women's Issue, Berlin. The Senate for Economics and the list continues. The location for Berlin's fashion week was at Bebelplatz, one of the most important location in Berlin. It also featured endless veteran designers like Tommy Hilfiger, Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, Anna Sui, Zac Posen, Max Azria enriched the fashion week with classic and elegant design. The New York fashion week also recognized a few newcomers for this season. Mackage, William Rast, Adam, Nanette Lepore, Dennis Basso, Tracy Resse are some of them. They were offered to showcase their talent on this prestigious and reputed global platform. The venue of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York was at the Byrant Park. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Miami is scheduled to begin on 15th July and will end at 19th July. This show is considered to be one of the largest show for the swim wear industry. The entry for this show is strictly on invitation basis only. This fashion week at Miami is believed to be a great platform both for resort collection and designer swim wear. In this fashion week, it is expected that designers will get good exposure both to international and national media.
