Lingerie Americas is the biggest show of swimwear and intimate apparel (innerwear) in North America. The event is mainly structured to prepare a professional platform for the manufacturers of intimate apparel to launch their latest collections. On the other hand, the global networking would also enable the retailers (and buyers) all over the world to discoe the collections of the best global brands.

About Lingerie Americas


The first event of Lingerie Americas Trade Show was held in August, 2002. Every year, the event is held in two editions – one in New York City and the other in Las Vegas (that was started in 2007). The show includes seminars, special events, international trade press, newsletters and complimentary lunch for the buyers as well as the press.

Through Lingerie Americas, the retailers of North America get informed about the latest innovations in the world of fashion from the celebrated designer brands. Some of the major partners who offer their complete support to Lingerie Americas are UK Fashion Exports, Eurovet, Lingerie Française, La Mode de France, and Spanish Knitting Association.

The products showcased in the event vary in prices and target buyers from the high end to the medium market. These include:

The commercial significance of Lingerie Americas can be easily interpreted from the following figures and statistics:
  • As many as 270 and 100 brands are unveiled at Lingerie Americas New York and Lingerie Americas Las Vegas, respectively.
  • While more than half of the international brands and designers participating in these fashion events are from Italy, Canada and France account for 10 and 7 percent respectively. The remaining 23 percent of the limelight is shared by designers from the UK, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil, Belgium, and Romania.
  • Every season sees over two and a half thousand visitors shop at Lingerie Americas' New York floor.
  • While 70 percent of these buyers shop from the specialty stores, departmental stores, mail order stores, online stores, chain stores, duty free stores cater to 11, 6, 4, 3, and 3 percent of buyers respectively.
  • 9 out of every 10 buyers at the Lingerie Americas New York come from various parts of the US (mostly from North East, and others from West Coast, South East, and the Mid-Western states). The rest of the retailers come from Canada and other parts of the world like South America, UK, France, Australia, Japan, and UAE.
The phenomenal success of Lingerie Americas had made the authorities enter an agreement with MAGIC International, another reputed fashion trade event to host Lingerie Americas at WWDMAGIC at the MAGIC Marketplace at the Las Vegas Hilton from February 2008.
