Fashion week Berlin is an international fashion event held twice a year in Berlin, Germany. One comes in the month of January and the other is during the middle of the same year. Many Fashion designers with their exclusive collections come every year to participate in Fashion week in Berlin. The fashion week is complete with sensational fashion shows, presentations and award ceremonies. In this one week event, several trade fairs and exhibitions also take place. Thus this fashion week is significantly important for Germany as its economy is largely dependant on it.

Fashion week Berlin 2007
Fashion week Berlin stared in the year 2007. Mercedes- Benz was the main sponsor of this fashion event and it was named as Mercedes- Benz fashion week. The fashion week started on the 12th July and ended on the 15th July. Lots of people gathered to experience the fashion events and shows of the international designers. With famous designers, many new faces also came with their fashion collections. In this way this show became a platform of the new designers.
Fashion week Berlin 2008
Fashion week Berlin 2008 was held in the month January and again in the month of April. Both the two events were held with full of grandeur and glamour. The week presented almost fifty fashion events including fashion shows and exhibitions. With celebrated fashion designers many new fashion talents came up through this event. In the Winter Fashion week of Berlin, students of the Weissensee School of Art and Design presented their collections which became very popular. This fashion school of Berlin is consistent in producing many talented fashion designers. People also experienced a wonderful collection of 30paarhaende. This Germany based fashion label was launched in the 2003.
Fashion week Berlin 2009
Fashion week Berlin 2009 winter and summer was held in the month January and July respectively. The main sponsor of the show was Mercedes- Benz. Other sponsors include DHL, American Express, Maybe line Jade and Freixenet. Several international brands including Joop, Hugo Boss, KAREN LY and EASTPAK participated in the event with their exclusive collections.
In the summer session, from 1st to the 4th of July a special event named Showroom Meile was arranged. In this session one question was asked to every visitor. “Are you beautiful enough?” From the customers’ individual answers the latest trends and fashion were detected. In this way Berlin fashion week tried to search out the latest choices and trends. In the even many international brands participated and presented their collections.

Fashion week Berlin 2010 is going to be held on the month of January, 2010. Designers and fashion brands have started preparing their collections. Let’s see who is going to be the trend setter next year.
