Dior fashion Show

Christian Dior is one of the most respectable names in the world of fashion. The collection and designs of Dior has always remained in an unbeaten position in fashion world. This fact was again proved when Dior fashion show was unveiled in recent Paris Fashion week.

Renowned British designer John Galliano designed the collection for autumn/winter 09/10 for Christian Dior. The collection of this designer was inspired from Samarkand to Silk Route. The collection intended to restore a feeling of fantasy and present them to the world. But that does not mean that the collection was devoid of any commercial reality. It featured bubble-hems, combined with traditional cross-stitching. While the jackets were fastened with cheongsam fastenings, which is one of the popular styles in China. One of the notable facts of this collection was that the financial crisis has failed to made any impact on the fashion house of Dior. Thus, the use of brocade, furs and cavalcades coats with cashmere were found in Paris Fashion Week.

The Dior spring/summer collection 2009 was inspired by memories of multiple trips of entire Africa by John Gilliano. The collection gave the audience a feeling of sensuality and earthiness. Day by day the fans of Dior's designers clothes is catching the fancy of rich and young celebrity. Thus, the clothes of this collection reflected this aspect.

The dresses were short but perfectly balanced with elegance. The colors that dominated this collection were orange, fuschia, acid-yellow, chiffon and delphinium blue orangza and obviously see-through. The accessories were well- matched with lots of detailed thought.

The designs also intended to carry tribal mood. This sense was reflected when models showcased bustiers of colored skin of python combined with micro-skirts of flippy type. With body hugging tight leggings and stingray corset-tops the mysterious and alluring tribal mood was caught perfectly.

Other than young and rich celebrity clients, Dior also had conservative clients also. The collection also focused to cater to this type of clients also. The dresses can be categorized into comfort and quiet zone of fashion. Al the dresses were tailored superbly. The jackets of Dior came in finest wool with perfect belts. Jackets with lantern sleeve were showcased by the models with polka dot pleated skirts, and short skirts. The colors were just amazing that ranged from black, grey, shades of beige, soft pastels and cream.

The collection of evening gown can be the perfect choice for the showroom. The gowns came in wide range of soft colors and the long skirts in famous Dior grey colored chiffon and eye soothing pastels shades. Pleat tiers and lace ribbons were used from knee to thigh portion of the gowns.
