Hemant Trivedi

The Indian fashion designer, Hemant Trivedi is considered to be a very successful and innovative dress designer of modern times. Having ventured into the world of fashion with an aim to create something unique and fresh, Hemant's works have been critically acclaimed nationally as well as internationally. After graduating from the Australian Technical Institute of Fashion Design he looked for inspiration from some of the world's best fashion designers—he studied their works deeply and emerged with his unique style. Hemant Trivedi designs stand apart for their individuality. He came back to India in 1980 and since then has established himself as one of the leading fashion and style gurus.

Hemant Trivedi realized that dresses reflected one's personality and lifestyle, and custom made dresses to suit the individual's needs and demands. Hemant started off his career by designing dresses concentrating his expertise to custom make dresses which was reflected his diverse approach towards fashion.

At present, Hemant Trivedi is the Head Designer and Fashion Director of one of India's largest fashion store, Sheetal. He was highly acclaimed for his stupendous work in Lakme Fashion Week, 2003. Having designed uniquely styled dresses for numerous models and beauty pageants all over the world, Hemant plans to launch his collections at Riyadh in the near future.
