The American fashion designer, Don Ed Hardy was born in 1945 in Southern California. The person was known as a famous tattoo artist of the country. He was the student of Sailor Jerry. Hardy was popular for using Japanese tattoo aesthetic in his work. With his innovative designs, he brought the fashion of tattoo in style. People liked his works and admired the artist a lot. During 1982, Hardy and his wife created Hardy Marks Publications. They started publishing the series of five books Tattootime. His books came up with great success. In addition, the catalogs included works of Sailor Jerry Collins.

  • In 2004, Hardy received license from Christian Audigier. He got the right to create best quality Ed Hardy clothing line completely based on his imagery. Hardy’s stores started to expand. You can find them at numerous locations, such as, America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
  • Gradually, Hardy took his brand into the path of success. Though it met some challenges but as a tattoo artist and as a clothing designer, he became able to overcome all hurdles in life.
