GIO GOI, GIO-GOI
Gio Goi was formed by two brothers, Christopher and Anthony Donnelly. It is actually written as Gio-Goi. With detailed knowledge about the street culture of those times, they manufactured warehouse panties in London and Manchester. Focusing their attention on the industry, they embarked on the idea of creating a new range of printed T-shirts and other products. Success was instant. They soon received attention from several record companies.
Aspiring to earn recognition in the fashion industry—this Manchester clothing brand started manufacturing a range of exquisite garments for their associates in the media and the music industry. And succeed they did! The award for the Young Fashion Brand of the Year for the year 2007 went to Gio-Goi. Their products have featured in Vogue Homme International and have been promoted by celebrities like Amy Winehouse and Liam Gallagher.
