The fashion house, Byblos received an independent identity during 1983. About Byblos
- The company got its name from a hotel in St. Tropez in France. Gradually, Varty and Cleaver became the most important persons of the brand. During 1980s, the designers brought young lingua franca in fashion. They targeted women under the age group of twenties and thirties.
- During 2001, Byblos declared two new creative directors of the company. They were Martina Sitbon and Dalal. The former director was working for women collections and the later one for men fashion items.
- Byblos is known for its sophisticated designs and signature creation. For three decades, Sergio Girombelli has been working as the creative source of the company. Together effort of all designers gave the brand a tremendous popularity around the globe.
