Miss Globe International

Miss Globe International is ranked among the top international beauty pageants of the world. Miss Globe International 2007 was held in Albania. The winner of Miss Globe International 2007 was Helen Cristina Alves da Silva of Brazil. She was crowned October 1, 2007.

History of Miss Globe International:

Miss Globe International was founded about 35 years back by Mr. Charlie See. It was registered in the Bureau of Patents and Trademarks in Washington DC in the year 1973. For the first few years, Miss Globe International contest was organized in Hollywood, California. For the next 12 years Miss Globe International was held in Turkey.

Miss Globe International was organized in Albania in the year 2004, and will be held there for the next 4 years. In 2004, the beauty pageant was organized in the 3000 years amphitheatre of Durres. In the year 2005, it was organized in the Palace of Congresses in Tirana. In the next year, Miss Globe International contest was held in the south of Albania, in the ancient amphitheatre of Butrint.

Contestants from more than 45 countries take part in Miss Globe International contest, along with their delegates and representatives. The contests are telecast live on more than 20 foreign channels.

Aim of Miss Globe International:

Miss Globe International is aimed at promoting international peace and friendly relation between nations. Efforts are made so that there is parity in the participation of the different countries.

Miss Globe International 2008:

Miss Globe International 2008 will be organized in Albania. Some of the participating nations in the international beauty pageant are Brazil, Switzerland, Finland, Russia, Australia, United States, Czech Republic, Estonia, Turkmenistan, Philippines, United States, Slovakia, and Venezuela.
