About Guerlain:
Members of the Guerlain family owned the House of Guerlain from 1828 to 1994. It was acquired by LVMH group (multinational investment corporation known for specializing in luxury brands). Founded in 1928, the House of Guerlain was opened by Pierre-François Pascal. Later on he composed and manufactured custom fragrances with the support of his sons. In 1840, Guerlain opened its flagship store. The fashion scene changed to a great extent after the store was established. The success was finally sealed with the creation of Eau de Cologne Impériale in 1853. This earned Pierre-François one of the esteemed titles of being His Majesty’s Official Perfumer (France). He also created personal perfume line for Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom and Queen Isabella II of Spain besides serving the fragrance needs of other royalty.
