Daily Healthcare for Bridal Skin

All of us wish to look good, not only on our wedding day but always! By following a daily healthcare routine, we can ensure that we look gorgeous all the time.

Eat a healthy and nutritious diet

You’ve probably heard this a million times but haven’t had the time or inclination to actually bring it to practice until now. But if you’re going to get married in the next 3 to 6 months, you need to pay a close attention to what you eat, how much water you drink, and how you can de-stress to look naturally beautiful on your wedding day. Staying away from junk foods and processed foods is an absolute must for healthy, glowing skin.

Incorporate fruits, vegetables, lean protein and whole grains in your diet as proteins and vitamins work as natural agents in enhancing the glow of the skin. Consuming citrus fruits in particular is considered beneficial for the skin. Along with a healthy diet, proper sleep and rest is a must as signs of tiredness and fatigue will become evident on your face or under the eyes (as dark circles) if you’ve not been sleeping well.

Losing the Extra Pounds

If you’re keen on losing those extra pounds to look your best in your wedding outfit, you can do so by controlling your diet (for example, cutting down on desserts and foods high on calories) and increasing physical activity. Avoid going on a strict diet as it could cause weakness and make you look pale and dehydrated.

Drink Lots of Water

While this is a general health tip, it is particularly helpful in getting a smooth, flawless skin. Try drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day. Water cleanses your body off the toxins and makes the skin look healthy and luminous. Stay away from caffeine-laden beverages like coffee, tea and soda since they steal the moisture from your skin making it look dull and lifeless.
