Coffee can do a great deal of good not only during the times when your mind feels tired but when your body feels exhausted too. The refreshing quality of coffee, when infused in natural body soaps, invigorates the senses and relieves the body of stress. Although available in market with some of the brands, you can make it at home too with the help of coffee soap recipe. Read on to know all about this homemade body soap recipe.

What you Need

  • A large bar of transparent and unscented glycerin soap
  • Brown coloring (food color)
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Coffee grounds
  • Powdered Milk
  • Coffee Fragrance Oil
  • Cinnamon Powder
  • Olive Oil
  • Soap Molds in the form of store bought molds, freezer paper lined shoe box or plastic containers


How to Prepare & Apply

  • In a container, place the glycerin soap and melt it over low heat. Add the olive oil and stir.
  • Take the container away from the heat. Add 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder, half to one teaspoons coffee grounds, just a pinch of cinnamon, one to two teaspoons of milk powder, 8-10 drops of brown coloring and 10-15 drops of fragrance oil. Stir and blend all the ingredients well.
  • Pour the liquefied mixture in the mold and set it aside to cool and harden for one to two weeks.
  • Use it every morning during bath, for a fabulous feel that will help you to start the day afresh.
