What you Need

  • Eucalyptus Oil
  • Citronella Oil
  • Bar of Soap made from vegetable oil (Castile Soap)
  • Pennyroyal Leaves
  • Water
  • Soap Molds

How to Prepare & Apply

  • Cut the soap bar into small pieces or simply grate it; ground the pennyroyal leaves.
  • In a container pour water, heat and bring it to boil.
  • In the boiling water, add the grated soap and heat it till the soap melts.
  • Remove from heat and add 15-20 drops of Citronella Oil and about 3-5 drops of Eucalyptus oil.
  • Pour the mixture in a blender and whisk until the volume increases to double the size.
  • Now pour in the mixture into the molds and let it cool until it hardens.
  • Apply everyday on wet skin during bath.

Benefits of Citronella Soap

The olive oil contained in the castile soap helps in the moisturizing process where as the citronella oil provides repellent against mosquitoes, at the same time providing therapeutic benefits to the senses.
