One such natural soap is Camphor and Clary Sage Soap, which is not readily available in the market but can be prepared with ease by incorporating inexpensive ingredients.

The herbal content of the soap helps to replenish as well as sooth all types of skin. Provided below is the Camphor and Clary Sage Soap recipe to help you make the soap at home.

What you Need

  • Camphor Oil
  • Clary Sage Oil
  • A bar of opaque Soap
  • Soap mold
  • Plastic Wraps

How to Prepare & Apply

  • Shred the soap bar or cut them into pieces.
  • In a double boiler, melt the soap pieces over low heat.
  • When the soap has melted completely, remove from heat and pour in a container.
  • To this melted soap, add about 2-3 tablespoons of camphor Oil and just one – one and half teaspoon of Clary sage oil.
  • Whisk to form a smooth mixture.
  • Pour into soap molds and keep aside and allow it to cool.
  • Leave on for 2-3 days till the soap hardens.
  • Take it out of mold and wrap in plastic so as to keep it fresh.
  • Use it everyday during bath, for well nourished and radiant skin.

The benefits of the soap lie in its herbal ingredients, comprising camphor essential oil and sage (herb) oil. Both of them help in increasing blood circulation and cleansing, and moisturizing.

They also help in preventing premature wrinkle formation and provide glow to tanned or pigmented complexion on regular usage and have anti-bacterial and anti-allergic actions.
