Sculptra Face Rejuvenation
Sculptra Face Rejuvenation is also known as 'liquid face lift'. This corrective skin treatment involves the removal of fine lines and wrinkles by applying a biodegradable material called 'poly L-lactic acid'. Sculptra face rejuvenation is a popular method of removing wrinkles and creases because it does not involve invasive surgery.
Sculptra face rejuvenation can also be used to correct lipoatrophy which causes facial fat loss.Sculptra is not obtained from human or animal sources and hence does not require a skin test before usage. It should be noted that sculptra is biodegradable and biocompatible.
Sculptra Face Rejuvenation Procedure
Small PLA particles are diluted in sterile water and are then implanted into the skin. The PLA particles stimulate collagen formation and helps to remove wrinkles and other skin imperfections. You might have to go in for three to five sessions for achieving the desired results. One completed the sculptra skin treatment can last up to a time period of two years. Sculptra face rejuvenation is thus, longer lasting than other filler treatments. You might have to undergo touch up sessions to maintain the desired appearance.
Sculptra is also beneficial in treating the back of the hands for removing lines and creases and minimizing the appearance of protruding veins. It can also be used to treat the upper chest area for treating indentations that might occur after liposuction.
Risks Involved in Sculptra Face Rejuvenation
Some of the common side effects while undergoing sculptra treatment are swelling of the face, bruising and redness of the skin. However, these side effects are temporary and can be treated by using ice packs. You should not take aspirin before the sculptra treatment to minimize the chances of bleeding.
