Seasonal Foot Care

You need to resort to seasonal foot care to keep your feet soft and supple throughout the year. Cracked heels, corns and bunions, blisters and fungal infections are some of the common problems of the foot. Regular foot care will ensure that all such problems are kept at bay.

Summer Foot Care

  • Wash your feet frequently during the summer season. Remember to dry your feet before putting on your shoes. This will minimize the chances of a fungal infection.
  • Stir clear off heavy boots during the summer months. Wear sandals and flip-flops instead. This will reduce perspiration of the feet.
  • You can use scented foot powders with anti bacterial properties. Corn starch is also a good alternative.
  • Change your socks regularly. Clean, dry socks reduce the chances of bacterial infection.
  • Go for a weekly foot massage.
  • Remember to apply sunscreen on your feet during the summers.
