About helichrysum oil

In the middle ages the petals of helichrysum were strewn on beds and across aisles in Europe. The helichrysum angustifolium plant is also known as "immortelle" or "Italian everlastings," because of the dark yellow flowers that retain their color even after becoming dry.

Oil is steam distilled from the dried flowers of the plant, which is about 60 cm tall. If distilled within 24 hours of harvesting, high quality essential oil is yielded.
