This piercing is done in between the chambers of nose, in the cartilage wall, generally at the lower side of the nostrils. It is also known as a ‘bull ring’ piercing. This is because cattle are sometimes seen with nostril piercing.

It is also known as an ‘Earl piercing’. Usually, this piercing is done on the nose surface. This is the hardest type of nose piercing, which takes longer to heal.

Once your nose is pierced, you would have to follow certain rules to keep infections away. It takes longer for a nose piercing to heal unlike any other body piercing. Hence, you would have to be extra careful about nose piercing. Some of the significant points that you should keep in mind are:
- In order to avoid the clogging of the nose piercing, you should immediately wear the nose stud after the piercing is done.
- You should always clean your nose with antibacterial soap.
- You should get your nose exfoliated by a beauty expert at least 2 times in a month.
- You could also use hot compression on the nose, which would help nose to heal quickly.
